TCMHS Welcomes New Board Member

 

AUBURN, LEWISTON, BRIDGTON,OXFORD, FARMINGTON, RUMFORD, ME:  Tri-County Mental Health Services is pleased to welcome John Geismar of Minot to its Board of Directors.  Geismar is a partner in the law firm of Norman, Hanson, & DeTroy, formerly Bonneau & Geismar.   John is a longtime resident of Minot, and has been active in its Planning Board.  He also has been involved in a number of volunteer boards, including Kieve-Wavus Education, Inc., Boys and Girls Club, and the Bates Mill Finance Committee.  

“John brings great experience and insight to our board, and we are very pleased to welcome him,” said Board President Dan Moreno as the unanimous vote was taken at the December board meeting.

 

Tri-County Mental Health Services is Maine’s most comprehensive agency dealing with the psychological and social well-being of children, adults, and elders. TCMHS serves over 8,000 individuals each year with innovative programs and services addressing mental health, substance abuse, mental retardation/developmental disabilities, autism, and more. Its philosophy of building toward recovery and sensitivity to traumatic experiences of consumers gives hope to individuals, families, and communities in Androscoggin, Northern Cumberland, Franklin and Oxford counties.
