3rd Annual Inspired Voices Benefit is set for Saturday, June 7

AUBURN— Planning is underway for this year’s Inspired Voices Concert and Art Exhibit, hosted by Tri-County Mental Health Services. Song, poetry, dance, artwork, and individual stories of hope and recovery will fill the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston on Saturday, June 7. Consumers of services from Tri-County will perform alongside local and regional artists, volunteers, and agency employees. Tri-County Mental Health Services’ Program Director, Catherine Ryder, will continue as Director of the show for the third straight year.

There are sponsorship opportunities available, and donations of raffle items are welcomed. For more information, or to get involved, please contact Tina Clark at 784-4110 x158. Proceeds from the event will help support community mental health services for children, adults, and elders. Tickets go on sale in May. Pictured are members of the Inspired Voices Planning Committee: Angie McFerren, Deborah Beam, Stephanie LaBonte, Tina Pelletier Clark, Director of Development & Community Relations, and Jolene Lovejoy, Board Member.

With State and Federal budget cuts increasingly threatening mental health services, agencies like Tri-County rely more and more on community support to fund services.  TCMHS serves over 8,000 individuals each year with innovative programs and services addressing mental health, trauma, substance abuse, mental metardation/developmental disabilities, autism, and more.  Its philosophy of building toward recovery and sensitivity to traumatic experiences of consumers gives hope to individuals, families, and communities in Androscoggin, Northern Cumberland, Franklin and Oxford counties. For referrals, call 1-888-34-HOPE (4673) or visit www.tcmhs.org for information.
